Personal Account of Each Feature

  • Message Tracking: For instance, I observed that it could only trace texts exchanged between different account holders but not any other wall posts or comments made by friends on each other’s profiles.
  • Multimedia Access: On another positive note, this feature allowed me to view all images and videos shared via Messenger. But it failed when compared to broader analysis of activities occurring in Facebook like wall posts or group conversation.
  • Group Chat Monitoring: While spying on my child’s groups was useful for me to know what he was up to, there was no way for me to tell when he joined or left them.
  • Screen Recording: This gave me a detailed view of their chats within Messenger but quick conversations were sometimes hard to be fully understood.
