mSpy can do this by showing information on which accounts have viewed the target device’s stories, including usernames and timestamps. However, it does not reveal what these stores are about in terms of photos, videos, or text captions as they are encrypted and deleted by Snapchat.

mSpy's Capabilities in Tracking Snapchat Stories

Having a desire to know how effective the app is at dealing with that particular issue I decided to try it out on my own for example as far as managing SnapChat Stories through mSpy is concerned.

This part of the paper will analyze my experience regarding the extent of capabilities and limitations of mSpy in monitoring Snapchat Stories.

Tracking Story Views

Among other things, one feature that I found pleasing about mSpy was its ability to monitor those who had seen the stories from the target phone. This gave me a clue on who was seeing my content from their profiles.

Indirect Clues from Screenshots

Another interesting fact that I came across is that mspy could reveal screen shots taken from someone’s story by exposing file names or app activity. While it did not provide direct access to the actual story’s contents however, indirect clues such as these would help us know something about what had been captured or saved.

Limitations in Content Access

The inability for me to access any actual contents constituting snap chat stories was one major limitation. For instance, no matter how good MSpy can be at snooping into snapchat activities like chats.

Live Story Views

Like regular snaps, MSpy allows you see who is watching live ones but doesn’t show what they look like. This also included usernames and timestamps although just like with normal snaps this presented similar problems due its nature.

Final Thoughts and Recommendations

From testing out mSpy tracking tool for Snapchat extensively, I can confidently state that there is some level of monitoring capability provided specifically towards engagement with viewers by Snapchat stories. Nevertheless, the fact that it could not reveal actual story content is a reminder of the importance of maintaining realistic goals when using monitoring applications.

To add up, this mSpy Snapchat app would be handy for parents struggling to manage social media but must be utilized within its limitations.
